Objective
Houston Business Journal's Celebrate!Enterprise is a three-day, multifaceted gathering designed especially for C-level executives and business leaders. Through a series of forums and festivities, Celebrate!Enterprise encourages the energetic exchange of ideas and insights grounded in the entrepreneurial spirit. 2009 marked the third consecutive year that Houston Business Journal (HBJ) entrusted Sullivan Group with the comprehensive, turnkey management of this ambitious event.

Production Management
In 2007, Sullivan Group worked side by side with Houston Business Journal in conceiving the inaugural Celebrate!Enterprise, which still remains an annual happening unlike any other in Houston. Performing as a true strategic partner to HBJ, Sullivan Group helps to pinpoint Celebrate!Enterprise's overarching theme and even assists in securing event sponsorship.

In 2009, beginning on Tuesday, May 19th, Celebrate!Enterprise was comprised of seven gatherings spread across four days. These included the inaugural "Vintage Capitalism" Kick Off event, Houston Growth Summit, Healthcare Heroes Awards, Houston Energy Forum, 40 Under 40, Battle of The Business Bands and Best CFO Luncheon. "Vintage Capitalism," held at Tasting Room's Uptown Park location, gave Sponsors and VIPs  the opportunity to enjoy Tasting Room's food and wine, along with fine cigars and entertainment. Sullivan Group was ultimately responsible for comprehensive budget management, venue coordination, registration functions, audio and video systems, menu selections, signage and décor, entertainment and sponsor recognition.

Challenge
Because of its many facets, Celebrate!Enterprise presented several formidable challenges. While working in accord with an overall strategic vision, Sullivan Group's event producers - in essence - oversaw seven separate gatherings across four days. This task was intensified as many events were held back-to-back at the same venue. For example, on day two of Celebrate!Enterprise 2009, only 90 scant minutes came between two events major events helt in the lobby of the Wortham Center.

In addition to assuring that all events occured seamlessly, Sullivan Group's leadership and event producers continually worked behind the scenes to meet the needs of event speakers and VIPs, and to assure that the strategic goals of all Celebrate!Enterprise sponsors were met.

Results
Building upon proven successes in 2007 and 2008, Celebrate!Enterprise 2009 was another triumph for Houston Business Journal, event sponsors and Sullivan Group.
