Clare Jackson, President and CEO of Sullivan Group, was recently named Chairman of the Board of Prepared 4 Life/Lemonade Day, Houston. She succeeds the founder of Prepared 4 Life and Lemonade Day, Michael Holthouse. Prepared 4 Life is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the betterment of youth. The organization focuses on building life skills, character education and entrepreneurship in children. The primary way Prepared 4 Life does this is through their annual community-wide event, Lemonade Day.

Lemonade Day was started in 2007 by Prepared 4 Life as a part of a citywide educational outreach program. Lemonade Day is a free, now nationwide, event designed to teach children the lessons of free enterprise as they start, own and operate their very own lemonade businesses. Sullivan Group assisted Prepared 4 Life in organizing the very first Lemonade Day and is currently preparing for a 5th successful year of fun!

“Lemonade Day is the most enjoyable, experiential and meaningful activity we have done as a family” states Jackson. “We are truly a family of entrepreneurs now that our daughter, Joanie, is selling everything she can and putting money in the bank!  After she spends a little, of course!  I am committed to our mission that every child in Houston has an opportunity to experience Lemonade Day and see for themselves that they can achieve the American Dream.”
