Sullivan Group, a premier event marketing and meeting management firm based out of Houston, received their second consecutive award for Best Corporate Event at the Crystal Icon Awards benefiting ISES (International Special Events Society) on August 23, 2009.  The ceremony was held at the Hilton Americas in Downtown Houston.  The prestigious “Best Corporate Event” Award was presented to Sullivan Group’s Senior Vice President Alex Rasmussen for his production of Microsoft’s “Field of Dreams,” a celebration saluting approximately 10,000 authorized Microsoft distributors and partners.  Microsoft’s “Field of Dreams” was held at Minute Maid Park in July of 2008 as part of a three day worldwide Microsoft Partner Conference hosted in Houston, Texas. 

“Service to our clients and quality of work is paramount at Sullivan Group,” stated Rasmussen. “We often hear positive feedback from our clients about our ability to deliver their vision, but being acknowledged and awarded by peers in the industry for the quality of our work is especially rewarding.”  When asked about the impact of this award on himself and Sullivan Group, Rasmussen replied “I believe the award is indirectly a commitment to our clients and the industry itself.  Sullivan Group strives to stand for the same ideologies that the International Special Events Society promotes.”
