DOMECOMING
To celebrate Harris County’s rehabilitation of the 8th Wonder of the World, Sullivan Group assisted the Astrodome Conservancy with hosting a “last look before reno” block party at the Astrodome. We worked closely with local vendors, food trucks, security, parking management and entertainment to enhance the event. With direction from Sullivan Group, the DJ customized a playlist that consisted of music that would have been heard in the Astrodome, helping to recreate the fond memories of the 8th Wonder of the World.
On the rainy and cold day, 20,000 Houstonians braved the weather to experience the Dome and its history. The tour consisted of a walk through the Dome to view not only memorabilia from the great teams that played in this facility, the Houston Oilers and the Houston Astros, but also from former players and owners of the teams.
